Odey Ochicha Commiserate With The Oko's Family on Senator Rose Oko's Demise
On Tuesday 24th March 2020, in Abuja, Mr. Odey Ochicha, the Chairman, Governing Council of Federal Polythenic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, condoled with the Oko's family as well as the people of Northern Cross River State on the death of Senator Rose Oko.
Ochicha, in a condolence message issued in Calabar by his Media Assistant, Paschal Nyiam, also commiserated with the Senate over the home call of their distinguished colleague.
Ochicha noted that as a Senator representing Cross River Northern Senatorial District, she was a detribalise and selfless politician, a courageous patriot, a philanthropist, a rare gem and a key factor who worked hard to ensure that she delivered on her promises, which portrays the qualities of a dynamic character and bringing the dividends of democracy to her people through her numerous humanitarian gestures.
According to him, Senator Rose Oko's representation of her people at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly and her commitment to the unity of Nigeria will long be remembered across ages and will continue to serve as an inspiration to others.
Ochicha admonished the Oko's family, friends and associates to honour her memory by continuing to uphold the values of honesty and accountability, trust and hope, which served as her reference points throughout her public service.
He prayed that God Almighty in His infinite mercies should comfort all who mourn her and that her beautiful soul should rest in His bosom of the Lord, Amen!
