A Motion Of Urgent Public Importance On The State Of Boki LGc Internally Generated Revenue IGR- Sponsored By: Hon. George Asu Ajangson; councilor representing Oku/Borum/Njua Ward.

On Tuesday, 23rd June, 2020, the 7th Boki legislative council had her first plenary session and kicked start her legislative responsibility given upon their elections as legislatures by the good people of Boki Nation.

Hon. George Ajangson, the councilor representing Oku/Borum/Njua Ward sponsored a motion of urgent Public Importance On The State Of Boki LGc Internally Generated Revenue igr.

A motion which seek to articulate the need for Boki IGR to be properly managed, harnessed to bring about robustness in infrastructural development and uncommon social amenities provision in the pastor John Ewa's 2020-2023 administration.

The motion was unanimously supported by the eleven (11) councilor's of Boki on the floor of the  plenary of Monday 22/06/2020.

*House Resolutions*

1. The 7th Boki LG legislature summon the Head Of Local Government Affair (HOLGA), Director Of Finance Service (DFS) and the revenue officer of Boki to appear before the house on Wednesday 24/06/2020 in Boje by 10:00clok(am) to offer public explanation on the poor state of Boki IGR and other related issues on the running of Boki LGc.

2.  After the public explanation today Wednesday, 24th June,2020, the 7th Boki legislature shall decide on what happens to the Boki IGR for the good of the people and advice the LGC Chairman on the way forward.

3. The sponsor of the motion, Hon. George Ajangson thanked God for giving Boki pastor John Ewa as chairman whom him Hon. George Ajangson described as a unifying factor in Boki politics, a round peg in a round hole who should be supported to bring the desired development and peace in Boki LG.

4. Hon. George Ajangson decried the poor and unworthy state of infrastructure in Boki at present especially at the LGC headquarters; Boje and prayed that revenue should be revolved immediately and competent hands made to handle the IGR of Boki, so that, the chairman can start addressing some key problems facing Boki.

Hon. George Ajangson also advocated that if the IGR is properly managed it will give pastor John Ewa the needed takeoff and landing resources to begin a renovation of offices at the LG council headquarters-Boje, clear the roads from okundi to Boje, okundi to Irruan, okundi to Ekpugrinya, Katchuan to Mbube, and Orimekpang to Bateriko to avoid daily accident on commuters plying the roads.

Hon. George Ajangson prayed the chairman to immediately attend to the four (4) bad potholes along Nsadop and Boje to avoid easy breakdown of vehicles and unnecessary criminal activities by bad boys who stay around the bad spots to carry out evil acts.

We will update the Boki Nation in the outcome of the public explanation offered by the summoned HOLGA, DFS, and revenue officer at the end of the day.
