Central: understands that officials of the Department of State Services (DSS) clashed with members of the pro-Biafra group in Emene community primary school, Enugu state on Sunday. The clash in its wake left 21 IPOB members as well as two DSS operatives dead.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the ban on printing of admission letters and processing of Inter-university transfers has been lifted.
The spokesperson of JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin made the disclosure in a statement released on Sunday in Abuja.

The outspoken clergy further claimed that if anyone infected by the virus is brought to him, he will pray for such a person and he/she will recover.
Oyedepo added further that he won’t wear gloves before attending to the person as what he carries is eternal life, not human life.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday evening, 30th August 2020, confirmed 138 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.
Central reports that the new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency. The development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 53,865 which includes 41,513 discharged cases and 1,013 deaths.

Organizers of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) have released the details of how viewers voted for housemates in Sunday’s eviction show.
