  Mr. Odey Ochicha has joined ⁸well meaning Nigerians to lend his voice with that of the youths to re-echo the ENDSARS protest against police brutality in the country. In a message issued by his Media Assistant, Pascal Nyiam, Ochicha, slammed the police which it officers have overtime been accused of harassing, robbing and killing youths for no just reasons. My heart felt over the destructions caused by purported ENDSARS protesters who suddenly became hoodlums and day marodars,and looted their brains from their heads in the name of looting, vandalizing government and private properties...of which is to their benefits. My political indifferences will not count me out from adding my support to the state Governor Prof Ayade to do the needful, arrest should be made, people should be made to learn lesson,...even Bible en encourage offenders to be punished and children should not be spoiled by keeping away the rod. How on Earth will any reasonable and futuristic youths engage into such act of practically destroying what he or she is a major benefactor..such properties likes; The Hospital, University Hostel. Cultural center...The Chronicle news magazine...etc.. of what benefits has this brought to them? This is contained in a notice shared with journalists by the spokesperson for the Attorney-General of the Federation, Dr Umar Gwandu, on Monday. The document which was signed by the Solicitor-General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Justice, Mr Dayo Apata (SAN), was dated October 15, 2020. Titled, ‘Notice of your removal as Chairman, Governing Board of the Nigerian’, the notice referred to an earlier letter dated September 28, 2020 which was said to have conveyed to Jaja the approval of the President for his sacking. While the notice stated that Jaja’s removal took immediate effect, it did not disclose the reason for his sacking.  President Buhari meets with National Assembly leaders over lingering #EndSARS protest President Buhari yesterday October 18, met with President of the Nigerian Senate, Ahmad Lawan, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, over the ongoing #EndSARS protests in all parts of the country. The meeting took place at the State House, Abuja. Bashir Ahmad the President’s personal assistant on new media disclosed this via his official Twitter handle.   Protesters Storm and blocked the two entrances of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) head office in Abuja. Protesters Mount with different placards, the protesters have vowed to prevent activities at the nation’s apex bank on Monday. The protesters packed vehicles in front of the main gate of the CBN headquarters, blocking any movement in and out of the premises and from connecting roads. Hundreds of the protesters are in front of the building, some of them are also camped on the road by the rear exit of the building. There was serious music playing from loudspeakers at the premises as of 9:45 while some of the protesters claim they will spend the night at the scene.

Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture on Sunday said that the Federal Government has met with all of the demands made by #EndSARS protesters. He started this on Sunday when he appeared on Radio Nigeria programme in Abuja.
