Chief of the Naval Staff drums support for Unical VC elect


In continuation of her familarisation visits to critical stakeholders, the VC designate of the University of Calabar, Prof. Florence Banku Obi als visited the Chief of Navel Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ete Ibas to discuss issues of common interest.


The Naval Chief who is a distinguished son of Cross River State, promised to support the University when ever called upon. He congratulated Prof. Obi for her emergence as the 11th VC of the institution, adding that her academic credentials and public service record speaks volume of her personality.


In a similar development, the Gender, Equity and Awareness Advocacy group hosted the Vice-Chancellor designate at Transcorp Hotel, Abuja. The association is made up of young female professionals and entrepreneurs across the county. 


The President of the Association, Ms Flora Eyo, who was represented by Mrs Esther Akpong, extolled the qualities of the VC designate who she said is one of their role model.

Boki Chairman Joins Engineers to Inspect Okundi-Boje-Kanyang Road for Rehabilitation On Friday, December 12, 2024, a team of state engineers visited Boki Local Government Area to assess the Okundi-Boje-Kanyang road in preparation for its forthcoming construction and rehabilitation.
