The Hon. Commissioner For Local Government Affairs, Hon. Stella Oreme Odey -Ekpo inspects the ongoing Calabar Arts- Crafts and Cultural Village.


The melting point of cultural experiences alongside her colleague Hon. Eric Anderson, Hon. Commissioner For Culture and Tourism.


She admonished Cross Riverians to showcase their cultural heritage as our culture is our pride, instead of copying and celebrating other cultures.


She promised the partnership of the 18 Local Government Council with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to making the event a fun filled one for the people of Cross River State since our usual biggest West Africa street party would not be holding this year, due to Covid-19 Pandemic ravaging the world, and other security challenges.


She assured Cross Riverians of a most secure outing with the Culture and Tourism Commission.

Boki Chairman Joins Engineers to Inspect Okundi-Boje-Kanyang Road for Rehabilitation On Friday, December 12, 2024, a team of state engineers visited Boki Local Government Area to assess the Okundi-Boje-Kanyang road in preparation for its forthcoming construction and rehabilitation. Demonstrating her commitment to excellence and hands-on leadership, the Executive Chairman of Boki LGA, Hon. Mrs. Beatrice Etta Nyiam, personally joined the engineering team for the inspection.
