CONDOLENCE:

The Commissioner for water resources CRS Hon Dr. (Obol) Godwin Ettah is saddened by the news of the passing unto boundless end of your very beloved husband, father late Knight John O. Obeten (KSJ) who joined the league of his ancestors at a very wee age of 48 years.

Indeed, his early demise is painful, difficult to believe, and mind throbbing that your husband, our friend, and confidant is gone so soon.

Death is a true reality that we would rather sweep under the carpet but can never completely be ignored because of its omnipresence in the concept of humanity.

Mankind loses his spec to the cool hands of death every now and then, and can't escape it. Owing to this stack reality, I urge you and family to accept his call unto eternal rest as both the will of God and a natural phenomenon.

I understand the loss of such a husband, a confidant, a dependable ally and a true father of your children is particularly painful but in this period of mourning, I implore you to draw strength and consolation from the legacies he left behind.

Although, he has gone the way of all mortals, yet he will live forever in the hearts of all men and women of Goodwill who were profoundly touched by his exemplary life.

As you make rounds in preparation for the peaceful return of his remains, do so with every assurances of my physical and spiritual support.

In this moment of grief, I pray for the peaceful repose of his soul to eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord.

Your's profoundly,

Hon Dr. (Obol) Godwin Ettah

Media team,

for the commissioner.
