HON. BLESSING EGBARA PRACTISES/PREACHES LOVE TO CROSSRIVERIANS IN A BID TO MARK  EASTER RITUALS.

The commissioner for Humanity and social welfare, Hon. Blessing Egbara extends a hand of blessing to Crossriverians across the board. The hon. Whose stock in trade has always been Love, Care and compassion towards the destitute and those without a happy life. Yesterday she and her team of humanist toured across the state, putting smiles and reviving lost hopes to the lives of Crossriverians who barely have enough to lean on through her humanly gesture of providing Chicken to them as directed by Prof. Ben Ayade and work description of the ministry whose energy she charges.

While addressing recipients of the free chicken, Hon. Blessing said and I quote:

"God provides comfort designed life for many - not just for the benefit of those with it, but also to assist those without it. This is the period where we all gather across the globe as Christians to mark the sacrifice of an innocent man whose sad event occurred a thousand years ago as a gesture to alienate us, off our plethora of Sinful biddings. Which have created a vacuum for us, to be filled by an act of appreciation; by representing the reason for the season. Love is the reason while we always come together at this time - every year to appreciate the rituals carried out for our sake. What have we in our little efforts been able to demonstrate as a sign of gratitude? The death of Jesus Christ leaves behind us the legacy of a big question mark which may never be correctly unraveled; as inhumanity to humans by fellow humans is on a daily spur. Let us in our personal life be the difference we all desire. In an attempt to decipher the answer to the ancient question, his Excellency the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade with unfettered concern towards your plight in line with my conscience as wired to human consciousness and my civil obligation as sworn to have directed that we provide succor to the downtrodden in our society. May the essence of this ancient display by Christians as first unveiled by Jesus be upheld at all times: season in-season out. Don't be broken, let your hopes not wither, for the night may tarry, but the morning will surely come. As we all gather to celebrate the rising of Christ, who ascended to heaven. It is our joyful wishes to see all Crossriverians rise out of the occasion of perpetual suffering and stagnancy while ascending to the good life and continual growth"

God bless us all and a happy Easter observation to us. While we celebrate, let's not be oblivious of the reason we celebrate. Even in our immediate environment, they are the poor masses/street children littered around like corn seeds whose hope will be restored through our sacrifice of little food, meat, water, and wine. Let our show of love appreciate and our inhumanity depreciate. Hon. Blessing preaches while extolling the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
