PEOPLE WITH A TRACK RECORD OF KINDNESS DO WELL IN NASS.

The most successful members of the National Assembly accordingto a recent report are people who are naturally kind or generous. The report added that in Nigeria's transactional politics where money has become one of the focal indices for success it is people with a natural disposition to give that have been able to make a mark in the National Assembly.

The report which arose from a nationwide research conducted by National Think-tank, a non - governmental organisation, discovered that because of the difficult economic climate in the country, constituents are increasingly expecting their representatives to give them cash handouts to help them with the challenges of feeding, school fees, medical bills and general upkeep of families.

The report advises constituents to elect people who are naturally kind, receptive and approachable and who are available at all times to assist them in their times of need. "Chronically stingy, selfish and nepotistic individuals are nolonger likely to make good representatives of the people as they will soon isolate themselves once they get to the nation's capital.

In Cross River State, the examples of Senator Jarigbe Agom, Sandy Onoh, Honourables Alex Egbona, Judy Ngaji, Essien Ayi are some of the leading lights in the National Assembly who have made their constituents proud with their caring and generous representation. The people of Ikom/ Boki federal constituency should vote wisely. Vote in a man who cares, a man you can reach in your hour of need. Vote Dr. Jake Otu Enyia, the man who cares.
