Deputy Governorship Position: Where Is Obubra Local Government Area

About the choice of who becomes running mate to Sen. Prince Otu, the Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC. It is important for the leader of our great party H.E Sir Benedict Ayade and other critical stakeholders to look beyond the Northern senatorial district.


From all indications, it has become more like the deputy Governorship position is exclusively for the Northern Senatorial District. 


The North is already too loaded with many positions, a sitting Governor, Minister, Subeb chairman, APC state party chairman with the Central Senatorial District left open. Our party needs Central Senatorial District majorly to win the governorship general elections. 


As at today central is the strongest hold for our great party. In Central, amongst the six LGAs, Obubra is the strongest but has been so neglected even in constituting committees. 


The history of APC in Cross River State can not be written without an Obubra man. Obubra people have sacrificed dearly for the growth of our Party and state at large.


With Chief Alexander Sunday Irek. As former minority leader Cross River State House Of Assembly and first ever state party Chairman of the All Progressive Congress. He diligently nurtured and gave the party life. APC Cross River State is still working today because of his tireless efforts to unify and grow the party.


Hon. Blessing Egbara, as commissioner for humanity and social welfare has been providing succor for students, youths and our aged parents in rural areas. She is widely loved and accepted by many Cross Riverians.


Hon. Peter Egba as Commissioner for industries, has been in charge of building industries across the state, so far they have not been any complains about him. He is well refined and a perfect gentleman. 


The trio are well qualified and can best serve as deputy to the Governorship Candidate of our party and should be considered for our party to coast home to victory come 2023.


It is sacrosanct the state leadership of the party take the Central Senatorial District, particularly Obubra Local Government more seriously.

Boki Chairman Joins Engineers to Inspect Okundi-Boje-Kanyang Road for Rehabilitation On Friday, December 12, 2024, a team of state engineers visited Boki Local Government Area to assess the Okundi-Boje-Kanyang road in preparation for its forthcoming construction and rehabilitation. Demonstrating her commitment to excellence and hands-on leadership, the Executive Chairman of Boki LGA, Hon. Mrs. Beatrice Etta Nyiam, personally joined the engineering team for the inspection.
