UNICEF begins training of AD-HOC VOLUNTEERS on child birth enrollment in Ogoja.
By Stephen Egar Ayim United Nations International Children Emergency Fund, UNICEF, has commenced a three- day training of AD-HOC VOLUNTEERS on Electronic Civil Vital Registration Statistics( ECVRS) for children between age zero to five years in Nigeria. The training which was in Collaboration with the National Population Commission, NPC, held contemporaneously at the three senatorial District in Cross River State. (North, Central and South). watch video The Training Facilitator, for NPC, Mr Ernest Azu, charged the trainees to expand their knowledge on the new system of digital birth enrollment . He explained that the training was intended to acquaint the ad- hoc volunteers with information on ECVRS before they would be statio to different wards in the state for the assignment.
