ETI- EKA NYIAM IS BOKI NEW SHERIFF WITH MIDAS TOUCH AND UNIQUENESS THAT HAS HIT THE GROUND RUNNING, JUST FEW DAYS IN OFFICE -GLORIA ODOK By Florence Kekong Lagos-based Social Entrepreneur and Community Changemaker, Mrs. Gloria Odok, has described Boki Chairman, Eti-Eka Beatrice Nyiam, as, 'The new Sheriff in town with a MIDAS touch of glaring development potentials that has hit the ground running in just a few days in office. Mrs. Odok, who made the statement while commenting on the concern for Staff of the local government Council whose jobs description demand their presence during official hours to be at the Council head office. as required by the civil service rules. She noted that this issue is deep and very touching, especially, "For those of us who love our Motherland". Her take, "In as much as we cannot neglect the issues raised by Staff as reasons for not being in the office, it is apt for them to struggle amidst huge challenges to put in their best now that Boki has a unique personality, Beatrice Nyiam, who has hit the ground the ground running on all fronts. "I know that she has the MIDAS touch that will produce development success in Boki", Odok said, advising therefore, that, the Chairman treads with caution, given that this is a complex issue that has been there from the creation of the local government and has always lingered because successive Chairmen severed harped on propelling g solurions, thus, making the Satff take the stand we all are praying that it would change for the better. However, she advised Mrs. Nyiam to use wisdom and patiently look into the issues by their merits and sort them out one after the other and at a time and cautiously avoid being over whelmed or pressured into taking certain decisions and acrions. She used the occasion to congratulate the Chairman on her well deserved elevation into the exalted office and assured her of total support from the Boki women in Lagos.
