Oden Ewa’s 600 Million Naira Education and Entrepreneurship Empowerment Grant -The Tension It Is Causing.

Hon. Oden Ewa.

Since the commencement of the Central Youths Connect, organized by Oden Ewa, Cross River State’s Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, some people have lost sleep over the widespread popularity, acceptance, and skyrocketing support base the young man has gathered among the youth population.

They have become unsolicited publicists, helping to spread his fame, albeit through futile attempts to discredit a humongous, life-changing opportunity such as this grant.

These individuals are praise singers of someone whose representation is characterized by gross incompetence, ineptitude, and absenteeism, someone who acts only when threatened by another’s actions, rather than the motivation of service. A Senator who interfaces with constituents by proxy (third parties).

For the record, Oden Ewa clearly announced the empowerment plan, which follows a process of data collection and screening upon submission of forms already distributed to designated persons in every local government area of Central Senatorial District. His Yuletide gift comprised bags of rice and cash, which were given to coordinators in every LGA for distribution.

Oden Ewa’s magnanimity is indeed too good to be true, particularly for those who have no business with generosity; people who are experts in photo-ops and window-dressing representation. We could not be more proud to have a young man who is deliberate about our economic growth and financial independence, so that we stop being pawns in the hands of politicians.

Six hundred million naira invested in the youths of Central will automatically impact existing political slavery and reduce the availability of touts used for dirty politics. Oden Ewa is not looking for slaves; he wants associates. This is exactly why there is a sudden outbreak of fever.

Qui sera, sera!
