HON. KINGSLEY EGUMI FELICITATE WITH THE ENTIRE BOKI NATION ON THIS MEMORABLE DAY OF BOKI NEW YAM FESTIVAL.

Today, as the sons and daughters of Boki, at home and in diaspora celebrate the long awaited New Yam Festival, the Honourable Chairman of Ikom Local Government Council, Hon. Kingsley Egumi joins other well meaning indigenes of Cross River State to felicitate with the entire Boki nation.

I and the entire people of Ikom considers it a great honour to associate with the people of Boki and her leadership. We pray and believe that, as you wrap up the year's farming season with the New Yam Festival, inspite of the catastrophe that shook the world, leading to many setbacks, may God Almighty, who gives seed to the sower and bread  to the eater reward this year with unprecedented harvest.

May this day of celebration usher all our brothers and sisters in Boki into another phase of life, where peace, love, development and togetherness is inevitable.

Once again, to all our brothers and sisters in Boki, at home and in diaspora, on behalf of myself, the good people of Ikom and the entire people of Cross River State, I wish you all a Happy New Yam Festival.

Boki Chairman Joins Engineers to Inspect Okundi-Boje-Kanyang Road for Rehabilitation On Friday, December 12, 2024, a team of state engineers visited Boki Local Government Area to assess the Okundi-Boje-Kanyang road in preparation for its forthcoming construction and rehabilitation. Demonstrating her commitment to excellence and hands-on leadership, the Executive Chairman of Boki LGA, Hon. Mrs. Beatrice Etta Nyiam, personally joined the engineering team for the inspection. Accompanied by the Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon. Obi Jonathan, the Chairman took the lead in guiding the team along the road, from Boje to Kanyang. During the inspection, Hon. Mrs. Nyiam emphasized the importance of adhering to global best practices in road construction.
